What is the greatest expression of love and affection that I can show my family and friends?
How can I best express my appreciation for them and give them a lasting gift that will completely change their lives and provide for them a joy and happiness that transcends all the issues of this life and world?
I have come to the realization that when those important to me reject my 'religious overtures' it's because they don't realize that I am not offering disciplines of men, but rather, I am offering the knowledge of relationship that satisfies and fulfills in ways that this world cannot offer.
I have also realized that rejection, or postponements are the result of fears that in listening they might actually 'have' an encounter with something bigger than their experience of predispositions.
So, I will continue to reach out in love.
I will continue to represent the love of Christ at every opportunity.
I will continue to pray that the God of heaven will shine the light of the knowledge of who He truly is into their hearts and break down every barrier to that knowledge.
I will continue to declare that there is no sin that is bigger than my God or His ability to forgive.
After all, these friends are a treasure to me.
